In which we visit the Farm Show

We arrived around 12:30.

"This cow gives water!!!!!" Suddenly we must have an inspection crew to see if he is correct.

By 2:30, every thought it was time to tryout the fine food the Farm Show offers.

The bins of corn provided quite a bit of entertainment

Several people thought it was great to be able to have front row seating while the carriages went around.

We arrived home about 8:30 with a vanload of sleepy folks. Several people, as my grandma said, "You smell like a cow!"

    Oh fun!! I was there with my brother and some cousins on Saturday. We were helping at the Blooming Onion Stand

In between the many calls at work today, I thought of my blog. I used to spew my opinions freely and frequently, but life got busy and I kinda forgot about this little platform. No big opinions or profound thoughts today - just an update on life through some photos. Strawberry season occupied nearly all my mental capacity for the month of June. We were blessed with a good year, but boy oh boy am I glad that strawberry season is not any longer than it is. Treated our strawberry pickers to ice cream one day.   Martina helped me keep the shortcakes stocked - they definitely were a hit!! Ended June with summer Bible School. Our theme was aviation Planting strawberries for next year - we had some wonderful helpers and it went very well!!   Hi! My name is Asher!  My mom enjoys journaling to help her process life events. She even used to share her big ideas on this page! Well, since she’s not using it at the moment, I’m going to take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about my life and all its grand adventures so far. Mommy and Daddy say I was in a big hurry to meet them early that Sunday morning, but the real truth is that I had completed all the exploring there was to be had in my previous home. The world out there sounded pretty grand and I was excited to see what it was all about. I guess it wasn’t real nice to daddy because he had worked really hard during the day before I was born and was pretty exhausted. He doesn’t hold any hard feelings though. Well hello and welcome back to my little space of the internet! The short hiatus dragged out much longer than I anticipated:) Anyway..... Martina (who probably checks my blog for updates the most) says I should hop back on here and stay for awhile. So, I'm here. I don't know how long or consistantly I will visit, but. . . . She also said I should blog about our wedding. I like that idea:) *** Friday afternoon we set up the reception, held at Maranatha. We had lots of help from our families and it went quickly and efficently.  Janette did a really good job on my flowers! Time for rehersal!
