More National Holidays. . . .

In my previous post (which you can read here) I said I would post photos of the other "holidays" we observed.

National Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. I "appreciated" the fact that the holiday was observed outside of the house! 


National Wear a Hat Day!


One of my younger siblings decided to make a hat for me just before I left to ride-a-long at the station.
 They were slightly disappointed that I didn't want to take it with me and wear it on the ambulance that day!

Aren't you disappointed that you didn't observe all these holidays?!?!

An update through pictures. . .

In between the many calls at work today, I thought of my blog. I used to spew my opinions freely and frequently, but life got busy and I kinda forgot about this little platform. No big opinions or profound thoughts today - just an update on life through some photos. Strawberry season occupied nearly all my mental capacity for the month of June. We were blessed with a good year, but boy oh boy am I glad that strawberry season is not any longer than it is. Treated our strawberry pickers to ice cream one day.   Martina helped me keep the shortcakes stocked - they definitely were a hit!! Ended June with summer Bible School. Our theme was aviation Planting strawberries for next year - we had some wonderful helpers and it went very well!! Wedding Things

Well hello and welcome back to my little space of the internet! The short hiatus dragged out much longer than I anticipated:) Anyway..... Martina (who probably checks my blog for updates the most) says I should hop back on here and stay for awhile. So, I'm here. I don't know how long or consistantly I will visit, but. . . . She also said I should blog about our wedding. I like that idea:) *** Friday afternoon we set up the reception, held at Maranatha. We had lots of help from our families and it went quickly and efficently.  Janette did a really good job on my flowers! Time for rehersal!
