Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. ~ Robert Frost I typed up this poem several weeks ago with a blog post in mind, and while I contemplated with wording and sentence structure, the rest of the post took off running - running away from my brain, an

"Here, I'll give your fingers a kiss. All better now?" I asked the little boy in the front cart who had managed to somehow get his fingers pinched as we rolled up to the cashier. The front of the cart behind me ground relentlessly into my ankles, assuring me that my younger sister was still pushing the other cart along behind me. As I was untangling myself from the two carts, the toddler, forgetting his minor finger injury, started unloading the groceries that where residing with him in "his" cart. While unloading the cart was occupying for him, unfortunately he was trying to make the bill for the lady in front of us a little larger; simply by adding some of our groceries on her side of the conveyor belt divider. Since my younger sister is constantly bugging me "When will you write another blog post. . ." I suggested that she blog for the day and then decide why I only post when something interesting happens! Building the dam. My brothers are building a dam to try to dam up "the creek "(which is actually a drainage ditch beside our house) I think everything down there is"so far so good". The dam is in the back round. They wanted the water to be high so they could float "boats"or go swimming.Doesn't it look like fun? ...Younger brother fixes stairs for the doll house while younger sister looks on. ...Little brother plays catch.

My younger sister checks my blog everyday, and informed me on Wednesday that I really need to blog more often! So, I weeded and then mulched around my bushes. . . Mom saw this thing on watermelon and showed it to me; maybe she thought it would make the blog sometime. I thought the article was amusing, especially the part about the "girls being sweeter than the boys"! Since I don't have a picture of myself eating supper, here is a picture of us trying to fix our tire swing: Looks like the new swing is a big hit! Have a great June 1st!
